Based on survey results from primarily English-language independent booksellers, the study offers insights into the profile of indie bookstores, including sources of revenue, inventory and marketing practices, common challenges, and much more. In addition to offering an in-depth look at the state of indie bookselling in Canada, it is also a call from booksellers for greater co-operation in the industry.
