Checking Out Canadians
This free report summarizes the results of two surveys conducted by BookNet Canada. The first, carried out from July to September 2013, surveyed 1,005 book buyers from across Canada. The second, conducted in November 2013, was focused on Canadian libraries and received responses from 36 librarians representing 31 library systems.
The goal of this research was to gauge awareness and perception of Canadian books, and to determine how easy these works were to discover online and in libraries. For a sample of this report’s contents, read our blog post about the research.
