BookNet Canada is a non-profit organization that supports publishing companies, booksellers, wholesalers, distributors, sales agents, industry associations, literary agents, media, and libraries across the country. We do that by developing technology, standards, and education to serve the Canadian book industry. As such, we have many products, including SalesData, CataList, BiblioShare, and others.
We’re often asked how our products work together. For example, why is metadata for a title different in SalesData than in CataList? This, and questions like it, are why we’ve created a flowchart that shows exactly where the information comes from, where it all goes, and how all of our products work together.
